Acer Iconia Tab A200
The new Android slate from Acer will be available in the market soon. The 10.1-inch Iconia Tab A200 will be shipped with the pre-installed Android Honeycomb 3.2. Acer promised that the new tablet will be updated to Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich by January of 2012.
Acer Iconia Tab A200 Specs
Acer Iconia Tab A200 packs a 1GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 CPU and the users have an option of 8GB or 16GB of storage capacity. This model is shipped with a 10.1-inch display and the SD card slot for additional storage capacity. The Acer Iconia Tab A200 tablet is equipped with a 2MP front facing webcam and has 802.11n Wi-Fi for the connectivity. Overall, the tablet weighs more or less than 1.58pounds and its thickness is about 0.48inches.
This new model has a unique User Interface which make it different with other Google OS. The menu is overlayed with a circular interface. It is quite similar to UI widgets which Acer has released on its past laptops.
Beyond those specifications and softwares, there is no further information about this particular tab, including the price tag and release date. But two things was mentioned and that are, it will be available in either Titanium Gray or Metallic Red and to selected countries only.
