Sony launched Qriocity-focused 9.4-inch S1 media tablet and dual-screen S2 clamshell 5.5-inch tablets

Sony S1 and S2 dual-screen Honeycomb tablets

In Tokyo, today Sony CO.LTD for the firsts times the announcement a pair of Android 3.0 tablets. There are two honeycomb slabs and told you about exclusively back in February. The first tablets names S1 and it is the Qriocity focused 9.4 inch with both front- and rear-facing cameras and a curved wrap design that resembles a folded magazine. The Sony S1 already powered by Tegra 2 SoC processors and providing customized “Quick and Smooth” touch panel UI with “Swift” web browser. Moreover it can also be used as a remote control for Sony gear thanks to integrated infrared.

For the second tablets pc named Sony S2 has the dual screen S2 clamshell with its pair of 5.5-inch, providing 1,024 x 480 pixel displays, and camera for chat, take picture, record video. In other side this tablet pc powered by Tegra 2 SoC processor. This tablet pc takes advantage of the two screens with a custom book-style UI layout for its e-reader app, split display and game controllers for PS One gaming, and split keyboard and messaging displays for email. In this case the S2 and S1, both of them are PlayStation certified, Wi-Fi certified, support DLNA, and 3G/4G “compatible” according to Sony. And about the prices the Sony S1 will sell at $599 and for Sony S2 sell start at $699.
