The full name of the laptop is Toshiba Qosmio X775-Q7272. This notebook really aims for performance-minded users, with its big-sized screen and a bunch of features. Read the review below to find whether the Toshiba Qosmio X775 is worth the price tag or not.

Whole of its chassis is made of textured plastic which surprisingly, has some durabilty (almost no flex found on the chassis). For the looks, it has charcoal-grey color on the exterior and interior, except along the notebook’s hinge which is colored with red. Provided with its bulky size, the quite comfortably keyboard takes a full size along with the numpad and also it is backlited. The textured touchpad also responsive enough compared to other notebooks and it suports multitouch.
On the inside, the Toshiba Qosmio X775 features an Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M Graphics, 6GB of DDR3 1333MHz RAM and two 500GB 7200RPM hard disk drives. For the display its 17.3-inch screen is capable of show up to 1600 x 900 pixel resolution. Unfortunately, the 47Wh battery is at average performance with max of 5h 21min (idle), and only 44min with max load. However, the connectivity options is up to date as the Qosmio X775 packs Blue-Ray disc drive along with three USB 2.0, one USB 3.0, VGA and HDMI outputs, Audio Connections jacks and standard 5in1 Card Reader. It also features LAN port, WLAN and Bluetooth 3.0 for communication options.
Overall, Toshiba Qosmio X775 “only” weighs 2.99 kg (6.6 lbs) which is lighter compared to other notebooks with the similar build. However, the thickness is still in average size at 27.9 to 35.5 mm (1.1 inches to 1.4 inches). It is normal, since the laptop is constructed as a desktop replacement.

The bulky notebook gives us an impressive poin in matter of performance, display size and connectivity options, thanks to the combinations of high-end Core i7 CPU and NVIDIA GPU, the big-sized 17.3-inch screen and the blu-Ray disc drive. Unfortunately, it has some flaws, like the average-quality display and low performance battery life when not idling.
